I sat court side when we played Wisconsin earlier. Couldn’t belie how often Blackwell and Boyd got away with pushing off with their off hand on their drives. Brad was complaining about it also. Hopefully Brad will be in their ears of the officials early. Contain Boyd and Blackwell and we win by 15

Boyd and Blackwell are going to do some damage. They are great players. The key is to not allow them to completely wreck the game. Have to slow one of them down to some degree.

If we can do that I think we win fairly comfortably.

I think we just gotta take care of the lead when we have it. That's all there is to it. Do that and we're cruising to victory.

The team that plays the previous day almost always has a slight advantage particularly in the early part of the game. Illinois needs to be ready from the start. On the other hand Illinois has obviously the advantage of not playing the previous day and should have more legs in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Was not happy hearing Brad's comments in the Maryland postgame presser about his disapproval of the team's lack of energy level and enthusiasm. Hopefully, that is rectified tomorrow. Postseason time so time to lock in.

So you're upset about him being honest? And by the way I watched the same presser you did. He did not express any disapproval whatsoever. When the team is not as physical as he wants themt to be, he takes the blame not the players.

Wiscy's last 4 games they've hit 63 of 142 from 3, which is about 44%. Crazy good and a team that can come from behind. Be interesting to see how we play defense.

When we come out strong we win. Can't let them get us by 8-10 early. We should all be healthy. Got to hit 3's early. Would love to see Andrej go off today.

Agree this game will tell us a lot about our trajectory. Wisconsin has guards who can penetrate and bigs who can shoot, 2 tough matchups for us. But their defense is, I believe the kids say, sus. I think the 2 biggest keys today is keeping Wisconsin under 30 3pt attempts and out rebounding them by 10+. We do both of those things I like our chances.
