I wish I lived within manageable driving distance of C-U. I'd put aside what I desperately need to get done today in order to attend this game. These guys are The Beloved and they're struggling. They need butts in seats attached to vigorous lungs and lots of support. I'm confident they'll figure it out during January. While I find myself back in central Illinois during basketball season for the first time in over 15 years, I cannot attend, as I am here caring for my mother who has had a stroke. We will be watching the game (although she seems to think we are bad luck after watching the Missouri and Northwestern games together).
However, I am strangely confident about this game despite all the turmoil.
