This is more than I knew, as far as it goes. But from what had been intimated to me--and I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say from what I've been told, and that's not everything that there is--there will be more. And I'll pass it along when I can. Of course, in two more days...it will be current events.

BTW, I did a (very) little research just to see who Robin Kaler--"campus spokeswoman"--and what I came with is former chancellor Wise had been told by Kaler not to use email, so things couldn't tracked...

Seeing our name stream across the bottom of the screen as ESPN runs this week's schedule of the top 25 ranked teams this weekend has me in an up mood. But then, I see us next to the No. 5 team in the country, and somberness returns. And I tell myself it's just the start of good things to come.

I really don't buy into the Becky hype machine but they will run it down the Illini's throat, 38-17.

They are probably way over-ranked at #5 and haven't played anyone yet, but we just don't have the offensive firepower to keep this close. Our D will be out there all day long getting run over.
