Reports are the the highways are ice rinks at this point. Champaign public works is plowing but I'm not sure how well they are going to be able keep up. Side roads will be your issue as you said. Be careful!Anyone in Champaign been out and about this morning? A long time to go before game time, but I'm hoping the roads will be passable by then, assuming I can get off of the side street.
Speaking of lunch..........................Well, at least the pregame morning hasn't been dull on Loyalty. Can't wait until after lunch to see what happens...

That is some bold talk, my friend.Winning the Purdue game without Curbelo might be the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on this site.
I don't know, there have been some pretty ridiculous things on this site. Remember when there were posters legitimately convinced that Bill Self wanted to leave Kansas, where he had accomplished all he can, to finish what he started here? We ended up with John Groce, of course.Winning the Purdue game without Curbelo might be the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on this site.
Wait, so you are saying that Curbelo's performance caused us to LOSE the Purdue game? Since they lost with him and they would win without him?No, Damonte is exactly the type of player I want to see on the court. He's gritty, smart, and he knows his role. I want Curbelo to be as great as anybody here does. I'm just not sure he is any of those things. He certainly hasn't proven my trust on the court, but I am looking forward to him proving me wrong. And for the record, I think we win that Purdue game without him. Illinois usually finds a way to win those big games at home and that was an uncharacteristic loss in that situation.
This me 9 times out of 10 when reading this board.

Wow.
The coaching search threads, a land of dreamers and kooks. Some of the most fanciful writing about Illinois sports you'll ever find. I both love and hate them in equal parts.I don't know, there have been some pretty ridiculous things on this site. Jimmy Buckets knows.
We will most assuredly keep that statement on the record. No, Damonte is exactly the type of player I want to see on the court. He's gritty, smart, and he knows his role. As ref's, they should be an improvement over the usual ones we've been getting.Moe Larry and Curly from the crowd.
