The reaction of posters on this board when, god forbid, they have to watch a game on streaming:

Personally I hate the idea of "pay-per-view" college games. I was not a fan when B10+ rolled it out for basketball, and this seems like more of the same unfortunately. I will almost certainly pay and yet I despise doing so as basically it's just more money they collect, making an even better financial case for them to make even more ppv games in the future. And that’s where this all heading. Want to see the Illini game? That'll be a $20 charge for your 1 time single use passcode...
I love BTN+. And since BTN and BTN+ became available, I’m able to follow Illini sports again. And better than ever.

We used to have to listen on the radio (and that was only if you happened to be close enough to a transmission tower for a station that happened to be carrying the games).

The best part of that picture is laughing at the thought of Nebraska being ranked.
The following is an underused meme, IMO. The equal of Phillips' kid at NW. I remember savoring this game on Thanksgiving Friday in 2001 from start to finish, partly because of their evisceration of us in Champaign my junior year, 1986. The Buffs led 35-3 early in the 3Q. The utter humiliation and shock of the Husker hordes who made the trek to Folsom was delicious:

Is peacock giving you kickbacks or something

Not at all. Just been a longtime subscriber to the service and have thoroughly enjoyed what I've had the opportunity to watch.

Plus I'm just trying to counteract all the hand wringing that happens on these boards when a game on a streaming service is brought up. Especially this one, when it was known going into the season that there would a possibility for games being on there as part of the new TV deal.
