He was good enough but likely wanted a bigger role than we were willing to offer. Post from an insider nearly a year ago.

I’m not advocating we keep Tyler. But, is he really putting an offense out there that is so different from what Brad would do?

Brads offenses have always relied on a “hero” winning one on one battles IMO. Relied on it much more than I like at least. Ayo and TSJ and Domask were really great at it.

The years we haven’t had “that guy” have looked like this or worse.

The TALENT thing is vastly overrated. We got one kid in the top 100 in the portal, one.

We got KJ but he was not the most talented prospect and Ivisic who was relatively unknown and was regarded as the lesser of the two brother at least before the season. Our euros overperformed expectations and this was our worst portal since the portal ear began.

I remember the insiders & a lot of other posters raking many of us over the coals for saying this stretch might not go very well and that we could lose more than you'd think.. I'll gladly find posts if needed..

Since USC we've gone 3-4 and lost to MSU, Maryland, Nebraska and Rutgers... I'm waiting for some accountability...

You're right ... I don't think Brad would do any better ... Brad is more CEO than X&O ...

I want two ELITE X&O coaches ... One on offense and one on defense ... We can afford it ... Now go find them ... I don't care where they come from ...

Prefer Stephen Gentry & Luke Yaklich but I am not opposed to others ...

This is what I’ve been saying. Josh is not Ron Guenther he is willing to pay up. So comparing Groce to Brad is apples to oranges. Brad is the 8th highest paid coach in the NCAA and from reports were top 10 in NIL. I don’t think it’s a great ROI.

Seems if you’re going to rely on analytics to form your team and game plan, you need good analysts. Do we have them?

I was at the RAC last year. The Rutgers “faithful” were out the door and you could hear us chanting ILL/INI over the TV. The RAC is only hard to play in when you are losing.

KJ and Reilly really need to look to TJ for a role model. Wasn’t he the guy who everyone said would leave early for the NBA?

This is a team in its first year together. As good as things have been, this is why you need returning players in the program. I get the NIL, but we have 2 returning players and one who last min went redshirt. This team still has a lot of fight, but right now if KJ and Will aren't having good games its hard to win consistently. Looking forward to the next game
