Starting to make this the norm instead of the exception. This season will be most sellouts since when? Gotta be at least the early 90's.
The following quote is from the embedded article in @Dan's post above.

"The sellout is Illinois' fourth in a row, tying the program's longest sellout streak since 1982-87 (28 straight). The Illini also sold out four straight games during the 2008 season."

It also appears that if we could sell out the Maryland and NW games, it would tie the record for most sellouts in a season at 6 (done multiple times).

I've been part of Illinois home games since 1998. For many years, I thought Illini football was a best kept secret. Get a media pass, drive up 90-minutes before the game, get a decent parking spot, and mosey on out of the parking lot right after the game.

Get to see some big-time college football with 30-45K fans in attendance. A sellout was a special occasion.

This year, I've had to modify my pre-game arrival routine. I have come to the game an hour earlier to make sure I can get a parking spot on the back 40 of my pass lot. #FirstWorldProblems

And I love it.

I wish for my own desires that it was a 2:30 kick. But, considering I am bringing toddlers to the game, its probably for the best that we get this done earlier in the day rather than later.

Illinutgers feature at noon.
OSU-PSU should be done after 1Q( so obviously it will be a 4Q game)

Why are there so many 11 AM games this season? So lame for fans and the team never performs as well in the morning.
Times have changed my friend. We’ve been on big noon which is the premier game for the conference twice. If you are good you get this kind of slot - Ohio state plays at 11am a ton, check out last year. I so disagree that 11am is awful - sure many prefer night but memorial was rocking at the start of OSU and FULL

I’m pretty sure that the big 3 networks have exclusive rights to air Big Ten on broadcast TV in their desired windows, so this means NBC had to get a special exemption to air this game at the same time as Big Noon
