agree completely. I think he'll continue to be a special college player, but I don't see the NBA in his future. I do think "super slow footed" is a pretty big stretch.

To me, Mirkovic is one of those smart guys who lets the game come to him. Pretty rare in a player so young.

If we include Jake, that means 8 guys will be fighting it out in practice for those remaining 2 starting spots. Or, significant minutes off the bench. Like most of you, I'd love to see that action!

There have been a few posts recently in the other forums (probably the Illini Basketball 2026-2027 forum) about where Petrovic transferred, if he has transferred anywhere yet. As far as I know, no one has any idea what has happened unless something happened just recently. I noticed that the grid has him going back to the Serbian National Team. Is that official or just a guess? I did a search and have found nothing about it. By the way, I am not complaining or criticizing (in case this sounds like that), just curious

Crazy to think we could possibly have Andre and Jake back for another year. Although, I hope Andrej's 3pt % improves enough this year to win us a championship and win him a 1st round pick.

So is there an obligation to offer a 5th year to anyone who wants it? Or is it up to the school to decide if they want to extend a 5th year?

That's what I'd like to know. I didn't know that Jake and Andrej would have TWO years of eligibility left. If that's true, I'm a happy camper.
