If we go 22-9 in the regular season with our schedule, IMO we're looking at more like a 4 seed. We expect something like 15 Quad 1 games this year, with the remaining games split between Q2s (8) and Q3/4s (8). So at 22-9, we'd be looking at something like 7-8 in Q1, 7-1 in Q2, and then 8-0 in Q3/Q4 - a very similar team sheet to Indiana last season when they were a 5 seed, but with 1 more win.

Losing TJ and Hawk makes it tough to have a better team next year even if you can replace transfers lost with equivalent incoming transfers.

I'm concerned about this backcourt, especially in neutral site games and road games(turnovers and not getting into the offense in a timely fashion), foul shooting, reliance on the three point shot and having no depth in the paint.
The concerns are pretty much the addressing of our issues last year. We're relying on addition by subtraction and an "old" roster to be able to bridge gaps.
We're going to be athletic and we're going to be deep. Those things are without question. Will the intangibles be there? That'll be the difference between 22-13 and 26-9. We shall see. Starts tonight.

Strong resume gets us a 3 seed. Some people think we're overseeded but we go out and knock off the #2 seed in our region to go to the Elite Eight.
Illini nation breathes a collective sigh of relief and BU gets a contract extension.
TSJ is 1st team AA. Coleman is 2nd Team all B1G. They both get drafted in the second round.
