At the end of the NW game, Hummel commented that Skyee looked 'broken' after completely bricking a free throw. Watching these last few games, he looks like he lost his confidence and any pleasure he gets from playing the game.
It has to be tough to not play for a year, then make the huge leap into high stakes, high pressure D1 b-ball as a starting pg. Then on top of that, the team hits a nasty skid, looking leaderless and lost, that only amplifies the pressure. I wish the kid the best and hope the time away helps clear his mind and heart.
