Epstein can come back or move on, but Bielema is going about spring ball like he won't be here since he isn't here yet.

Sounds like Mike is rehabbing and may not be ready or doesn't like the rehab process BB and his staff put together for him. Might also be like dude tore his ACL 3x and doesn't know if he has it in him to risk it a 4th time.

The conference has announced that individual schools are free to determine their own attendance policies. Illinois will allow player's parents to attend but no one else. Possible review going forward.

I hope there is a review, can't imagine they would stick with this policy with Covid numbers plummeting as they are. The absolute floor should be at 25% capacity.

I expect a number of changes between now and then.

For the first time in a while I'm psyched for football to start. I really think BB and the staff are going to do some great things here.

Define 'then'. There are a number of home athletic events on campus this weekend and only two parents per athlete are allowed (even for outdoor events).

Would it make since to allow season ticket holders access to the games, since I think we average about 20 thousand season ticket holders a year?

They are currently selling tickets for home games. I had mine rolled over from last year and recently got a letter offering upgraded tickets if we want them, though there was a caveat about covid contingencies.

Thanks. I rolled mine over from last year, and would love to get back in the stadium when they feel it's safe.

I was just referring to football, but covid rules are fluid. Like recruiting. 🤨

I'm just so damn impressed with Bielema. I was all about hiring him, but mostly based on his resume. He's really hitting the ground running with seemingly everything. I know it's a different age with all the video conferences and he seems very open to at least the generalities of his plan. But man he has a plan for everything, literally. I can't help but think he's going to be the real deal and have true success here.

These freaking coaches man. They're so well-spoken. They have some typical coach-speak, but they all seem to sneak in some very technical, deep football strategy information in there too. It's really something.
