late game on TNT tonight................Blues , Blackhawks tied 2-2 after 1st period,,,,,,,,Hofer should get primary assist on Blackhawks first goal putting an up the middle of ice pass right on Blackhawk players blade.....

Blues up 2-0 over the Stars at the 2nd intermission...........

Jordan Kyrou and Jimmy Snuggerud both score goals in the 2nd period with Kyrou's goal being his first of the season....

Snuggerud scored his goal in the crease outstretching a Dallas D-man to tap it in the net......The more I watch Snuggerud play the more I get vibes of a young David Perron buzzing around making a pest of himself.......Perron is one of my top 10 all time Blues favorite players...........he really really is..............

LET'S GO BLUES !!!

Blues get their first home win of the season with a 3-1 victory over the Stars...................Pius Suter with an ENG for the Blues to close out the scoring for the Blues and getting their 3rd win of season.......

This bounce back game should take some that bitter taste from the Blackhawks win and gather some much needed momentum with 2 gamws remaining in this 4 game homestand.........the Blues had a lot more energy tonight and played the Stars tough eliminating any chances of a comeback even though the Stars did get the score to 2-1 but that gritty goal by Suter erased all doubt about the Blues win...................

LET'S GO BLUES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next home game is against the LA Kings and there will be a special tribute to former play by play announcer John Kelly......

I'm already enjoying the new announcer tandem of Kerber and Vitale......you can tell they have been together for a while and bring a new perspective to my listening pleasure..........they really really do................

the tribute the Blues game him at the first media timeout was great........seeing the 3 different pics of JK during his 20 + years of doing Blues broadcasts was kind of surreal seeing him at various ages in his life.........his calling of the Blues Stanley Cup winning season in 2019 was awesome and I will always remember that special treat.....

With that being said I am already enjoying the new pair of announcers as they bring a fresh new call to the broadcast and you can tell they have been together for a while on the radio side of the Blues games.....We are in good hands with Joey & Kerbs ......

we really really are..................the overtime loss last night stings a little but getting a point eases that pain........

Blues lose their 4th straight game @ the Penquins 6-3........Hofer allowed 5 goals again in a terrible start to this season.......

also of note , Robert Thomas and Jake Neighbours both are out day to day with lower body injuries......

I didn't expect the goaltending to be so bad heading into the season but it is really awful and both goalies are allowing goals at an alarming rate.........

Neighbours out and will be evaluated in 5 weeks..........wow............he was off to a great start , but now out with a busted leg from a shot block......he played 9 + minutes AFTER suffering the leg injury..................

Blues - Red Wings 1-1 with less than 5 mins remaining 1st period........
