Nice article. Heard a podcast where she talked about her passion for interviewing, learning, and seeing people in a compassionate way. She's very talented and incredibly hard-working. Succeeding in a male-dominated field and deservedly so, using her unique perspective. Glad to share the same University connection with her.

That was year #3 of my now 45 years as a season ticket holder. And, oh, what a year it was! I took my Dad, who's no longer with us, to that game. We knew we had experienced a historic play and day in Illini Football history. My Illini mancave features the Rose Bowl jersey of Thomas Rooks' 1983 backfield running mate, and All Big Ten first team selection, Dwight Beverly. And my Dad in the Memorial Stadium photo next to the jersey.
