What is obvious is when you look at Power 5 competition we lack physicality. I think Bos, KJ, Tre, Tomi can match up. Having Ben, Davis and Riley can't.

So need to add Morez, DGL, and Booth. Keep playing Riley at the 3 and possibly with Tre on the court.

Can’t stop the dribble drive on the a break is a fundamental and why didn’t Ivisic help out?? You can tell this team is young. We don’t make the plays needed to win the game in stretch time.
Experiential learning, situational learning, etc. I bet we spend some time looking at that film next week.

If KJ had made that put back layup in the first half and either him or Kylan nailed down both free throws during 2 minutes left in the game we probably would be looking at a win. Nevertheless, the team's ceiling is still high and the growth is there. Gotta keep working on the easy things that will win you games.

I've watched that coast to coast travesty too many times now. How do we not stop the ball. The biggest learning lesson for any player. Tomi, you have to wall off. Of he wraps a pass around 1 or 2 things happen. Time runs out or you get beat doing your job. Fu*k!
I like our team though.

Some of you guys are insufferable 😂
They seriously are!

We shoot 29% from the field, 17% from the three point stripe, our best player turns it over 7 times(only two assists)....I can go on and on.

We played hard, but the guys who have the ball in their hands late are inexperienced and make mistakes.

We didn't have one player play well. Not one.

End of game COACHING needs cleaned up. No reason to not call a TO and no reason to not have Morez in the game. If a player lost focus and cost the game, he’d be out of his mind.
Who would deliver this bit of wisdom? The AD?

"Brad, you need to clean up your end-of-game coaching."

"Okay boss, I'm on it!"

Not sure if this showed up on TV, but before we threw the ball away at the end of the game, BU spent nearly the entire timeout yelling at/ complaining to the ref about a call. KJ then throws it away out of the time out.

There's plenty of blame to go around here. But at such a crucial point of the game, I would have preferred our coach to be coaching our guys instead of yelling at the refs.

Ditto. I don’t know what sucks worse Disney-Sequel Star Wars or our staff’s handling of late game situations

I mean, we played our asses off and went down to the wire with an absolutely athletically-loaded 10-0 #1 team.

That was a great effort. Clean some things up as the season progresses, get a top-4 seed, and I like our team's chances to go deep.
This. While it's disappointing the manner in which we lost, they are the #1 team in the country. Lost opportunity, but there will be more.

If you are going to lose a game against the #1 team in the land, that is EXACTLY how you want to lose! A final possession game.... I'm ecstatic with how we played. THIS young team against the #1 team this early in the season??? Hell yeah! Give it to me!
Thank you. I'm disheartened to the core, but this

How the team deals with this will be the turning point of the season. Could harden them and make them work harder. Could completely collapse the culture. Obviously, we hope the former.

Thank you! I'm sickened and disheartened, but this is the right take. Just hurts to have it within easy reach and let it slip through our hands.

90% of this board keeps saying this and Brad keeps playing him Ben was 3rd on the team in minutes today. It's gone way past stubbornness at this point. We're in the territory of foolishness and ridiculousness.

But if Brad can't react to the obvious given the mountain of evidence, we may just have to concede that our guys will need to play well enough to overcome the considerable disadvantages that Ben brings to the table. Heck, they very nearly did today against the number 1 team in the country so maybe we can continue to do it throughout the rest of the season (hoping against hope)?

No excuse for losing this game. Their 2 maybe 3 best players didn't play [much] in the second half. Atrocious execution down the stretch. Very disappointing.
We got their players fouled out, we got some classic Barnes decision making, it was all there and we cannot make an inbounds or a layup.

Maybe Brad can exchange that unused timeout for a slice at Pizza Hut.

Ivisic has to learn when to drop and when to help protect the rim. He should have blocked that last shot and he totally dropped off. He did that several times today that cost us.

KJ is a stud, so much so that sometimes you forget he's only 18. He gets himself in no man's land a lot still. I expect that gets better with time.

Elephant in the room, but dang, do we practice inbounds plays?? Because we don't play like we do. Just brutal execution.

We had a stellar chance with TN foul trouble but just couldn't really take advantage. And I'm still not sure what Humrichous is doing out there. He had one rebound tonight. It was a nice one lol, but still. And got beat a bunch on defense as well as the glass.
Losing hurts and blame get thrown around too easily. KJ had some great moments (4 point plays), but.....

5 of 15 from the field, 2 of 8 from three, 7(!!!) turnovers to only 2 assists, lazy inbounds passing, a critical miss from the line....

As the leader.....he has to be better.
