Annoying to see him be such a crybaby at the end of a winnable game. Takes a timeout home with him. That just got the bears coach fired. He’s not keeping his head in the game when it matters most.

What, specifically, did you not like about the play? I'd bet anything that if you asked KJ after the game what happened, he's tell you that the play was there, but he made a lazy pass.

These guys are young and they're human. The moment got a little too big for him late in the game. It wasn't a great last two minutes for KJ. Hell bounce back. Have to be stronger with the ball.

Morez is a 50% foul shooter. Unless he's in there on a defensive substitution, you can't have him on the offensive side. Tomi stepped up and hit two enormous free throws. I don't want MJ anywhere near that stripe right now.

I do agree that he needs more minutes however.

I was pretty happy after the game. Like LVille, I think we're ahead of where I expected.

The Morez gossip is disappointing. Hope it gets resolved.

I'm absolutely flummoxed by the plays out of timeouts and inbounding in general. It's a longstanding issue. The players are going to get better as the season progresses, but this issue looks intractable for some reason.

Nah…That would require more than the usual spin, over-rationalization, and orange kool-aid to get there. IMO

It would also require the shortest, short term memory ever. Because it certainly wouldn’t have negated what happened coming out of those TOs. It’s happened too many times.

Sorry. I love Brad. I’m glad & thankful we took the #1 team in the land to the wire.
But this is on our bench more than anything else. And that’s why it’s all the more frustrating that this sort of thing happens so frequently.

You've totally misunderstood me. I'm not saying that it's crazy for Morez to want minutes. Of course not. I'm saying it would be absolutely wild for his coach to think that there's nothing that can be done to convince him to stay. Especially so if it's true. Triply so given the energy and readiness that Morez has shown for this team.

It's only December, for crying out loud.

Brad is quite schizophrenic when it comes to what he wants out of the roster.

For awhile it was “Everyday guys”, culture, toughness. Bring in guys like Dainja, Shannon, Harris, Rodgers, Kofi, Giorgi, Hansberry. We were gonna be a physical Big 10 team in the mode of a Michigan State. Nobody would out-tough us. Development program with Tank

Then he switched almost immediately to “need shooting at all positions, win the math game”. Hit the portal find whoever you can get year to year. Feels like when his son came on staff, that’s when it switched.

True, I think he needs to see the floor any time the other four are bringing the heat on offense, minus the last 2-3 minutes of the game for FT reasons.

I wonder if the problem is Riley's slump. Analytics might be saying that it's hard to keep them both out there.

Got to connect the dots. His main recruiting guy TA is gone. And Brad’s philosophy on the game of basketball has changed between the time Morez committed, and today. Brad is 100% all in on shooters at every possession. So with that, Morez probably doesn’t fit on the team and probably commands bigger dollars elsewhere. I know Dan Hurley would love a guy like that playing a dunker spot and simply being a defensive rim protector.

I can live with some of the freshman mistakes with the turnovers but the team has to capitalize on second chance buckets to offset those turnovers. If they don’t then we get a game like Northwestern one and this one tonight.

This team is just charmin soft. There's like 3 guys on the roster that are tough and they don't really play. Those 3 are DGL, Morez, and Ty. Ty is already basically gone and I'm expecting DGL and Morez to follow him unless they start getting some more run.

Humrichous looks like a disaster and cant really do much of anything. Riley simply isn't physically ready to play at this level. Also, Kasparis definitely belongs in the NBA because he can't play any defense.

Also, I appreciate Brad for bringing the program back from the depths Groce and Weber sunk it to but Brad simply isn't a good X's and O's coach. He gets completely outclassed everytime he plays against an actual top tier coach(Altman is going to run circles around him).

Maybe we should just enjoy the competitive basketball and tournament appearances but its becoming apparent to me that Brad is not going to win a national championship unless he gets someone asst coach to take over the offense(No it's not going to be Tyler).

Okay??? Is Nicholson at NW anymore of some elite foul shooter? Is Omoruyi at BAMA? Even some of the guys playing for TENN today... getting our a$$ kicked in the lineups and matchups department... your best players are your best players... period.

Not him but Riley got plenty of minutes tonight. I just don't think he's physically ready for power conference level basketball yet. He can function as a 20 minute a game guy that can spot up and maybe score occasionally the only game against a power conference team he looked ok in was Alabama.

I think there is a few issues with the minutes and rotation though. Mainly Ben is getting 30 minutes and neither Morez or DGL are getting consistent minutes. I would like to see some 3 guard lineups with DGL, Kylan, and Kasparis(Kasparis has enough size where it should be ok defensively too). Morez and Ivisic are likely going to need to start playing together more.

Kasparis, Kylan, DGL, Tre, Riley, Morez, and Ivisic should be the 7 man rotation going forward. Humrichous can get some spot minutes if you need to give someone a breather or someone is in foul torinle. Davis has done nothing to suggest he deserves to be on the floor.

How do we lose this game because we don't have someone who effing went the ball out of bounds?
