Obviously, it took time to secure evidence that could substantiate charges and now....here it is.3 months ago and now here it is?

Why us!!!! Why!!!
I agree he seems like it. Innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately I have personally known students have their lives turned upside-down by such unfounded allegations. The most recent was a jadded ex-girlfriend who had a kid expelled from their university.TJ is a great kid.
Wasnt a kid on Alabama playing last year with murder charges? What actually is the university policy mentioned in the release? Like this court case will be very long. I totally understand suspending at first until the University does some fact finding but would they actually suspend Shannon the entire season waiting for the court case when he very well could be found innocent?
No, Miller was never charged with a crime.Wasnt a kid on Alabama playing last year with murder charges?
Fwiw the university seems to have known about it for a little while.
Was this a blindside hit to the athletic dept? Hard to believe the Bball Program would have released that ‘Day in the Life’ video two weeks ago had they known this was brewing…TJ is a great kid.
Do you think they were surprised by the charges?Fwiw the university seems to have known about it for a little while.
He even said in the statement they work with due process and presumption of innocence. I took that to mean It may not be a season-ending suspension, just until they get more information. My non-attorney take: I’m glad Whitman is an attorney and a straight shooter. If TJ did it, it will be dealt with the right way. Not like Alabama. If he is innocent, I would expect a strong vigorous defense from JW.
There’s also the court of public opinion too/optics.This type of thing can take AGES to resolve. His season is over.
He certainly not acting, playing, interviewing like a guy who knows a rape charge is about to come against him. But I guess people can surprise you with their demeanor.Do you think they were surprised by the charges?
I can’t imagine the allegations are a surprise to the team/athletic department. For him to have been playing as well as he has been playing and not be distracted as remarkable. It makes me think that neither the team nor TSJ expected charges.
Hell Brad was thereWasn’t Coleman with him on that trip to KU?
