I suppose, but with the regime change @ UNC and the coming one at Duke, it would have been nice for some uncertainty to creep in... Now Davis can already point to his own Final 4, and Scheyer will be inheriting a ton of momentum. On the bright side, these schools won't see much of a bump in recruiting. Not like they can go much higher. Much better than Iowa or Purdue making a Final Four and then looking more attractive to recruits we are going after.
That will occur if regardless if they don't win with these new coaches. UNC didn't exactly have a banner year. Getting hot in the tournament doesn't change that.I suppose, but with the regime change @ UNC and the coming one at Duke, it would have been nice for some uncertainty to creep in... No wayThe Final Bour.
I think most people root for the underdogs in just about every scenario. Caleb Love and the guy with the beard are fun to watch, but I'll gladly take UNC going home every day of the week.Don't understand the hate. I don't like Kansas, Duke or North Carolina but if you asked me if I would rather watch St. Peters or North Carolina play Duke, that is easy. Give me the best teams with most talent all day long if I am watching the game. And Villanova is just plain good and not hard to root for. Grown men who play the game. They have pretty awesome since 2016.
On paper its clearly the Dukies. Both are better athletes, and Banchero is so dynamic & seems to be gaining confidence.Better frontcourt: Banchero+Williams from Duke -or- Bacott+Manek UNC
