This is entertaining because many usual posters who were maybe claiming they knew the next coach don't know anything. I am a bigger JW fan then I was before. I firmly believe we are in a good position with JW.

The "hottest" new rumor of the day, hour, or minute, is interesting &, in a way, hilarious.
In the last 24 hours, we've had Bryce Drew, Monty Williams, & Archie Miller.
Then we have the likes of Scott Drew, Gregg Marshall, & Bennett who all are still active in the tourney.
If Williams, Miller, or Bryce Drew are the targets should hear soon. Otherwise, it could be awhile.

Apparently, Jeremiah Tilmon and Jamal Walker had dinner on Thursday and Jamal has been recruiting in the area for Illinois. Apparently, sources believe that Jamal is confident he will stay at Illinois. Lots of discussion on Monty Williams as a candidate.

In fairness, Jamal is also good friends with Archie Miller, so if we were to hire him, that would also fit this narrative.
I agree, Ryan Evan actually explicitly tweeted that Monty and Archie will both keep Jamal.
Walker recruiting for us especially the Metro-East commits is the biggest tell that he is staying and we are close to a coach
