Brian is T10 after round 1, even after dunking it on 11. He'll be in the second group of the day tomorrow, great opportunity to make it to the weekend!

Unless Brian throws up on himself on the last 4 holes, he will be playing the weekend. It would be nice for him to grab a couple of birdies to get to -2 but 17 and 18 are tough birdie holes. Hopefully he can birdie 15 and par out. Even par or better should be a nice score heading into the third round.

He hasn't made many if any cuts...this would be a great one to make...

Really nice Masters for Brian so far considering the rough start to his season. Even par in 24th place. Big boy golf today...paired with Colin Morikawa... Scheffler and Aberg in group in front of him...Fitzpatrick in group behind him. Let's hope he handles the pressure and plays well.

Rory is roaring through 2 rounds , but Scheffler is moving up on moving day Saturday.....made up 7 strokes so far today to be only 5 back after starting his round today 12 strokes off the pace......it could be an interesting pairing for final round tomorrow......

Rory with a double on 11 and bad hit on 12, getting interesting...

I don't dislike Rory, but I'm a big cam young fan.....what a moving day

Nothing against Rory from me either, I just want an entertaining Sunday - I think we might get that. I'd like to see Cam Young or Sam Burns take it, be good to see a first-time major winner.

Brian shot a 69, he is now T21 at -3. A solid round tomorrow could get him into the top 10, which would get him a return ticket for next year.

Rory having the day he had brings anyone -6 into the equation of winning. This could be a very exciting second 9 if there are several guys clumped together on the leaderboard. Rory needs to dump his 2-5 degree driver as it got him in trouble all day. Cut back to a higher degree to keep the ball in play. His ego sometimes gets the best of him. Placement is the name of the game at Augusta. With narrow fairways and tree lines on both sides of the fairway leaves little room for error.
