Is beating UNC in Greenville to get to the S16 a successful season?

Do the student athletes at UNC attend class this season?

North Carolina is without their best player and racked up a bunch of wins in an awful conference when their best player WAS playing. They are a very mediocre team as it stands. Not making the Sweet 16 would be a COMPLETE failure.

We’ll worry about the Houston bridge if we get there.

Clark just cursed Purdue. Queens upset incoming.

Same ones as every year. But in the past, University of National Champions (their words, not mine) had better coaching and better recruiting and better luck.

Fortunately, classes at UNC are same as they ever were.

Not a great draw. NC will be extremely tough for us. Then we get Hou in Hou which is our exit. FL takes our region.

Can someone explain to me how Iowa has a good enough resume to get in? Their non conference schedule consisted of wins against Robert Morris, W. IL, Xavier, SEMO, Chicago State, a 5 point win over Ole Miss, Grand Canyon, W. Michigan, Bucknell, UMass-Lowell, and a tough 4 point loss to Iowa State, who they play every year. So the whole bit about the committee respecting a tough non-con sched goes out the window. The only significant conference wins I see are a 13 point home win against UCLA early, a five point home win against Nebraska, and a 17 point blowout of OSU Feb. 25 at Iowa City. They did only lose to Michigan by 3 at home. They had road losses at Minnesota, at Maryland, and at PSU. In the conference tournament a win against Maryland and a loss to OSU. What am I missing?

At the end of the day our goal is a Final Four- we don’t have Duke, Arizona or Michigan in our way, this is a win. We can beat Houston and Florida if we are playing well.

This tournament will be much more about how we’re playing - there isn’t a “terrible matchup” like we’ve gotten in the past

Early upset thoughts:
Cal Baptist over Kansas
Akron over Texas Tech
VCU over UNC
Mizzou over Miami
UCLA over UConn

Why’s NC an extremely tough draw? They haven’t won a game since Caleb Wilson is done for the season
If we get the team that played against Duke in their last matchup - which with our luck, we likely will - we are toast. Plus it will essentially be a road game.
