You mean the game they lost by 15 points and only scored 61? Not sure what you meanIf we get the team that played against Duke in their last matchup - which with our luck, we likely will - we are toast. Plus it will essentially be a road game.

Not a great draw. NC will be extremely tough for us. Then we get Hou in Hou which is our exit. FL takes our region.
Who says the crowd wouldn't be pro illini?
I have plenty to spareIf we make the sweet 16, that is a HELL of a tournament. By zero means whatsoever should the expectation be to win a road game against Houston.
If that’s what you’re mad about once we get there… the frustration should probably be more reserved for falling off the 2 line.
Ironically that was us last year (to UK) - we barely squeaked by X.Second time in 3 years everyone's worried about a 6 seed that Illinois might not even play because they aren't that good.
Would’ve preferred the 4 in this bracket.
Here's an interesting article on Pearl.Someone sew Pearls ugly yap shut.
F him and Sampson.
You mean it's like St. LouisGreenville from Chapel Hill is more like if we played in Milwaukee. It's a different state with its own flagship school, plus a rival ACC school is right down the road. It wouldn't seem like as big a deal if South Carolina just had a completely different name.
UNC may get knocked off. I live here in Virginia and believe me, they are down the pecking order in the ACC. Duke-N.C. is a rivalry. VCU is good and can beat UNC without Williams. If we get the team that played against Duke in their last matchup - which with our luck, we likely will - we are toast. Well, this year anyway. The bad thing is that it is a moving target. Some years (like this year), it definitely does. Other years, not so much.I don't have any issues with the job the committee did. Followed the curve I had pretty closely. Biggest surprise to me was Arizona over Michigan for the #2 overall seed. We now have a definitive answer that the conference championship matters.
We beat them by double digits. Took control mid way through the second halfIronically that was us last year (to UK) - we barely squeaked by X.

I’m convinced some of you literally look to be so mad at Brad you change results
Mandatory reading for any Illini fan - especially the people who do not know the story of Satan and why he is despised by Illini nation. Here's an interesting article on Pearl.

They are the worst 6 seed, so it kinda balanced out
Why does the worst 6 seed get to play down the road while the 3 seed travels?
Those complaining about having to play north Carolina in South Carolina, dont get it. We have the easiest path to the S16 of any 3 seed. They dont pick regional favorites, plug in seeds, which aligns to the region.
Florida - 4 overall gets best 2 (Houston). We were 10 overall, on ua to not beat Wisconsin up 15, TWICE! Nothing is handed to you in life.
