Because location doesn't determine the outcome of a game, UNC is seeded 6th despite playing like an 8 seed all year, and worse than that since Wilson has been out. VCU is favored by metrics.
Home field advantage doesn't exist? It goes away once the tournament starts?
It's not their home field, actually. I'm not sure if you noticed, but Greenville is in South Carolina, and not a suburb of Chapel Hill.
Spread of that game fluctuated between 3.5 and 4.5.
Illinois was up 5 at half, 11 at the 18 minute mark, and that never fell below 6 the rest of the game. Vast majority of the half in the 10-17 point lead range.
