I agree that Illini basketball is well worth the regular prices, with that said it's a great opportunity for the loyal fans that can't afford the regular prices. Let's enjoy it while it lasts cuz this train is gonna be full steam ahead soon! Go Illini

The first exhibition game is in 25 days. Anyone know when tickets get sent? I'm getting anxious/excited!

Last year I was sent an email on 11-12-15 that my tickets have been shipped. The first game I believe was 12-2-15 so that's what 20 days prior. As of today we are 24 days from the first exhibition game so I'm guessing early next week maybe.

I was able to pick up tickets in section 106 yesterday during the I-Fund presale. I noticed there's still tickets in section 106 and 118 available for many games. These two sections are designated for Krush, so it appears as if Krush membership is down this year. No bueno :(

I noticed when ordering tickets to the northern Kentucky game that tickets in section 106 were for sale to the public. I thought that was part of the orange krush. Can someone fill me in here?

See my post above yours. Likely explanation is Krush membership levels are down. Oh well... can't beat those seats for $30.

I guess I should've done a little reading first eh! Oh man Hopefully I'm not the only old guy with a wife and kid infiltrating the krush that game!

Can anyone with past season tickets answer a question for me? If we don't receive our tickets before the October 30th would we have to do a will call pickup to get in? We are only 9 days away and still no info on when they will be sent. Thanks in advance.

NIT in NYC over Thanksgiving

Im planning on going to the games in NYC over Thanksgiving.

Does anyone know if we'll be the Home or Away team?

I want to get tickets near the Illini bench and not sure which side to choose?

Thanks for any direction!

I would call or email the ticket office and pose your question to them. Last year the tickets were sent UPS 3 day select. This service provides for delivery in 3 business days. If we receive notification that the tickets are 'in the mail' Monday and if they are sent UPS 3 day select we will not receive them untill Thursday. The order confirmation stated 'Your season tickets will be mailed to you approximately two (2) weeks before the first home game."
We will be lucky if they are delivered 2 days before the first home game.

The ticket situation is pretty frustrating. Makes it impossible to sell or give away tickets to the exhibition games.

It depends on where you live, but 3 Day Select means 3 days or less. I don't know where they're printed, but I'd guess that they'll only be in transit for a day or two at most if they're shipping to Illinois or a surrounding state.

Still, they're cutting it close.

I drive from the quad cities so the cheaper prices make it easier for me to afford being on a disabled veteran budget

Last year the tickets came from Ft. Smith, AR and I received mine 3 business days after I received the email that they were on the way. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago just a few miles from the UPS Addison distribution center.

I emailed the head of the ticket office and did get a quick response back here is what he said.

Terry,

We were notified by our printing vendor that our season tickets were shipped out Friday via UPS. When I get back in the office Monday morning I will check the tracking info to see if I can get a read on when your tickets are scheduled to arrive.!

Thanks for being patient with us. The B1G schedule came out very late and now all of us big ten schools are having issues getting the tickets out to our fans on time.!

I'll be in touch on Monday morning.!

Good to know the tickets will be sent on Monday! I sold my Wash U tickets for $6 on Stubhub and need to enter the bar codes ASAP. I had emailed recently and they had told me Thursday 10/19 they were sending out. The tickets for football and basketball come from Fort Smith, ARK cause that is where the company that produces them is located.

As for the tickets in the 'Krush' Section, that is concerning for the Northern KY game cause that is not a 'student break game'. I purchased extra I Fund tickets in the 100 level behind the basket for Ohio State cause that is January 1st - those were $55 + $5 fee. The student break games are Winthrop, Ohio State, Michigan, and Maryland. Stinks that students are away for 3 of the 9 Big Ten games because Illinois does not resume second semester until January 17th.

As for the prices, I got tickets in the $490 section (227, row 12), comes to ~$25/game and that is still very high considering the product at this point in time. I was able to get football season tickets, very good ones, on the 15 yard line for only $150 for 7 games (~$22/game). Let's just hope we can start winning some games, the fans will definitely come back.

Finally, I was a Krush member for 4 years '01-02 to '04-'05 and we saw some interesting changes in attendance over that period. We had a lot of members in 01 for Frank and Bradford's last year, big dropoff in 02 - even though that was a very fun year, an increase for 03 - Weber's first year, and finally a great group in 04. I think back then we only had around 250 floor seats, but I could be wrong, may have been 750 - not 100% sure.

Just checked my UPS account and it shows the package is on its way. But have not received an e-mail as yet.
