So the NCAA granted medical red shirts for two less than textbook cases? Is it possible they don't have it out for us and everyone is just a little bit paranoid?

I would not call Tracy Abrams' case less than textbook, it was as textbook as they come with respect to getting a sixth year, and the main reason that UI felt no urgency to resolve quicker.

Yeah, Abrams was a slam dunk. I think Thorne's was open to interpretation of the rules, but you could make a sound argument that the NCAA threw us a bone on that one

That's fair. I was just thinking that 6th years can be tricky but if there was ever a case to allow one this would be it.
