Lot to work through regarding if there is any interest there etc. I would note that those are rumored failed drug tests, (course probably leaked after he announced transfer) but regardless kids mature and I don't see past drug use particularly weed as fatal

JUCO mid-year transfers can sign NLIs on December 14th. We currently have no JUCO commits so we'll see if anything materializes by then with Lawson.

For someone like Carney, he would just enroll in January if he were to commit.

Can he run?

I would put him in the category of a traditional drop-back quarterback. He will have a run or two where nothing is open and he can run for a first down, but he is not a mobile quarterback (he is not a statue). From what I've seen of him, I think he is a really good QB that you adjust your offense to fit his strengths.
