Welcome Trent!!! Who is next?!?!
Let's get Scruggs.......

OK, guess I'm now overconfident, but the 5-star KY recruits don't choose to go elsewhere when Coach Cal brings in three or four other premiere players. Let's get some mega guard talent on the court. B.Douglas/D.Altenberger/T.Wysinger (Elite 8) ----- K.Gill/S.Bardo/N.Anderson (Final 4)--- Dee/Deron/Luther (Championship game)

Except for that 1 snub but at the end of the day, we want guys who want to come here and don't have a hidden agenda.

Love seeing guys that want to come here and truly recognize what a great opportunity it is!!

A hand-in-glove fit and a great early evaluation by the staff. This is looking like a great class. Now lets go make it happen on the court this year to keep this administration afloat!
If the glove fits, you must commit.

Takes one to know one! 👍

Well, not quite. My kids are adults now, but have no kids, but, I have been visiting my sister. Her grandkids (my grand nieces/nephews?) spend a lot of time over since school is out and it seems I get to listen to about 2 hours a day of Hot Diggity Dog the past few weeks! lol School starts tomorrow!

Trent's commitment is great news after such a horrid year last year in so many ways. Welcome, Trent, as well as your family, to the Illini family!!

So happy for Trent as well as coach Groce and staff. Sometimes good things do happen to good people.

I also noticed on Twitter that DaMonte, Javon and many others are welcoming Trent to the family. That's great!

Certainly is nice when everything comes together perfectly in a recruitment. Get in on a kid early. He blows up into a top prospect. Then he remembers who believed in him first and commits. Why can't they all be like this!?

Because not all young kids are grounded and mature. That doesn't make him better than others but it does go a long way to show that he has a good head on his shoulders at a young age.

The third guard was Quinn Richardson. Wysinger was a freshman reserve.
