Nice video! Welcome back Trent and thanks for being an Illini!! It’s great to have his leadership as well as his talent for another year. I hope he can build on his strong finish to the season and keep this thing rolling. I-L-L !!!

I’m SO glad Trent has come back in order to not only raise his pro prospects and help his Illini keep the trending upward going, but also to get the accolades he deserves from the Krush and Illini Nation on his home court in person, especially on Senior Night. #IlliniForLife

Is trent going to play at the same time as Plummer I wonder? They seem to have very similar skill sets, which isn't a bad thing.

Wow. If Kofi comes back we could be even better than last year.
I don’t get this latest “take” (I so hate that passive aggressive recently popular phrase). Sure belo will be better. But we lost the best player we’ve had in 15 years and our highest ranked frosh in just as many. We will remain relevant, but need a lot more to be better than last year-or even AS good.

This is all becoming a grand social experiment: How much great news can Illini Nation take before completely losing it in a whirling blizzard of sustained ecstasy? Not sure about that, but let’s keep it going and find out! More, please. And how about next March, too?

That’s nothing short of outrageous
We played really well without Ayo but that doesn’t mean he’s not a great player. I think we still need a better option at the 4 but if we get that we could be a more complete team. *could* is an important word here.

Add me to the list that welcomes Trent Frazier with open arms. But.........this will be a challenging year for Underwood and staff. They will have to fit the pieces together. A team of the same level as 20-21 is possible....maybe a bit better at consistency. Getting the new guys up to speed defensively will be a hill to climb and I think...and like every Illini fan....I hope they can get to the top.

I loved the defense we saw in the last 8 games or so. And the offense saw few droughts with Curbelo providing aggressiveness and looking for the open man. This team will be deep. We will see a lot of playing time going 10-12 deep early in the year resulting in spectacular moments for the new guys as well as embarrassing times on occasion. But filling the SFC to the rafters will get every fan excited and a big boost for the budget.

I challenge anyone to guess the starting lineup for the B1G tournament. Injuries will occur, maybe some academic suspensions.....but hopefully no disciplinary problems. These guys should have one goal as a team....to do whatever they can or are asked to do to get to the FF. If Kofi comes back, they should all expect it.

Listen, get better, support each other, and believe in yourselves and your coaches. BU has created a solid roster of talented players and solid culture. Wherever you turn...whatever you do...someone will have your back and pick you up. Be a part of it....use your time wisely...and enjoy every moment.

This whole post is borderline insane. Nobody’s been suspended since Tevion Jones. That ish isn’t happening here anymore.
Starters as of this moment 100% will be Belo, Trent, Grandison. Kind of hard to predict the rest when the roster isn’t even finalized....

also Trent should be the front runner for B1G DPOY. This is great news

Agree. We have a lot of offensive weapons now and having Trent back as a leader and defensive mentor should really help bring the new players along. Love the way this team is coming together.

Honestly, I am happier with Fraizer returning than having AM back unsure of his future. The team is reloaded and ready to play hard 8-10 deep. No Trent please talk Kofi in to I more year, and have him shoot 1000 - 10-12 footers per day.
