That is a wild read. A lot of damaging material there. Crazy it was recorded and turned in now.

Can't imagine much worse of a look for the Gard administration. Also I think it's pretty pathetic for one of those involved to record those conversations and send it to the media.

I would shake something like this off a little more if Kobe King didn't cite similar reasons publicly when he left. Surprised Davison came back given this, but who knows.

It's more than pretty pathetic. It's one thing when recordings like this get leaked because, for example, it's the only way someone is going to be held accountable for some type of crime or horrendous behavior. But this sounds a lot more like "things didn't work out the way I/we wanted, so let's burn some things down on the way out."

Hopefully karma will find that person some day and expose him for one of his failings.

But I thought it was our coach that we pretended had relationship-building problems...

And once those problems came to light, I don't think there was a single player on our team that didn't come out publicly to defend BU.

Heck, I think even Anthony Higgs put out a huge statement about how much Brad meant to him. And that kid never even put on a jersey.

No wonder Podz didn't want to go to UW.
I remember listening to that Tay and Piper podcast several months back, where they interviewed Podz' AAU coach there. Think it was shortly after Podz' committed or signed his LOI. But his AAU coach had glowing reviews of BU and the Illini BB program. The UW BB program however? Um yeah, not so much. He's not a fan of their program AT ALL!

Wowsa. That was an insane read.

That seems like the kind of thing a disgruntled ex-colleague (cough cough) would do, not an ex-player. I'm not sure why you'd toss a match on a program you've been away from for several months when you're recorded voicing that you want things to be better for the next crop of players + one of your own in that meeting is coming back, unless you think that this is the only way to accountability. Granted, I'm not sure why an AC would have the foresight to record that session, unless they also knew what was coming.

looks like the recording wasn't started until after the meeting got started. i guess it could've been anyone that decided to record for a variety of reasons.
