Oh yeah, season 2 of Daredevil was amazing. It was better than season 1 mainly due to me liking the Punisher/Electra/Stick better than Wilson Fisk. I am stoked for season 3 of Daredevil.

Season 2 of Daredevil starting now! (Had to catch up on the most recent seasons of Archer and Bob's Burgers recently added to Netflix).

Any suggestions for a comedy series? My favorite comedies are probably Californication, Entourage, and Silicon Valley. I think that's because those 3 follow a storyline like an action/adventure show does, each episode ties into the previous one and of course there is a cliffhanger at the end to make you keep watching. So something along those lines would be great.

Californication is my favorite show. It definitely tailed off in the latter seasons, but 1-4 were fantastic.

As far as shows in a similar vein, I'd bet that Louie is right up your alley. All the episodes doesn't always follow a linear storyline, building off the previous episode, but it is very good. Same with Maron . Both from stand-up comedians (Louis C.K. & Marc Maron, respectively).

Or another comedy/drama that I really enjoyed was Psych.

All streaming on Netflix.

Only through 7 episodes, but I love Elektra. Elodie Yung would have been great in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo sequels (she briefly appear as Miriam Wu).

Californication was great. Loved Hank, Charlie and Cokey Smurf.

Psych was great. An all-time family favorite. One of the few shows (some of) my kids, wife and I could watch together.

Binged Silicon Valley. Love it.

Started watching Halt and Catch Fire. More of a drama. Like it.

Netflix just dropped another season of The Unbreakable Kimmi Schmidt. First season is VG.

Loving Netflix.

Amazon just dropped season 2 of Catastrophe. Season 1 is great.

Anyone watch The Colony? It's on here in the UK. Saw the pilot yesterday. Has potential.

Some of my favorite TV shows as of late may be weird choices to some, but I enjoy watching them:

Homicide Hunter: Detective Joe Kenda -- Investigation Discovery Channel
Chopped -- Food Network
Mystery Diners -- Food Network
Mysteries at the Museum -- Travel Channel

I only watch one Sitcom which is ABC's The Middle. Usually have new episodes each week, though last night's was a re-run.

I've never watched Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, NCIS, or any of those shows. Either it just never interested me or the series has already started and is currently in season whatever the number episode is.

Watch BB. You'll be hooked by end of season 1.

Got netflix a few months ago. I have watched The Walking Dead which is a terrible show but I am hooked, Sons of Anarchy which was good and Mad Men which I really enjoyed. From the recommendations above I will probably start Californication next. I also want to watch House of Cards, Peaky Blinders, Dexter, Making a Murderer, and a few others. Netflix is awesome.

Kenda is great. The reenactments are kinda cheesy, but the show is really good. Shame they're running out of material.

I'm not giving anything close to a hot take or anything but my roommates have not seen Breaking Bad or Lost so naturally we started both. My god seriously doesn't get better than these two series. Second time watching and I'm equally as addicted as them.

I loved Breaking Bad and the first 3 seasons of Lost. Didn't the writers' strike take place right around then?

I think you are correct. If I remember correctly it happened going into season 4 but I'm kind of guessing. Which would make sense why you liked the first 3.

I just finished watching Lost, and yeah, for the last 2 seasons worth, I just wanted it to be over.

Just finished Season 1 of Californication. Witty and honest. Love it.

Im a little skeptical of the ending of the season finale though. What happens at the very end of the show seems to be too soon IMO. But cant wait to see whats in store for the next season. Highly recommend this show.

My personal favorite show of all time. Seasons 1-4 are top notch.

This is great news. Best to watch it with subtitles. Cillian Murphy can do no wrong.

The only problem with this show is not enough episodes. 6 is definitely not enough.

For those who have Netflix, try Peaky Blinders, it's great.
