Saw the first season and liked it a lot. Think both the Max shows are better and thankfully only one season long.

pulled both shows up on IMDB. turns out I've seen Valley of Tears, lol. good show. but not as good as Fauda, IMO. as always, YMMV

Just started "The Fall of the House of Usher" on Netflix. It is pretty good. I also believe that it is in an Edgar Allan Poe short story. I don't want to like it, because I get scared 🤣🤣, but the wife insisted. It is in the series family of "Thr Haunting of Hill House" if you watched any of those. A lot of the same actors.

Mike Flanagan is an incredible storyteller.

Is anyone watching Slow Horses on Apple TV+? Based on series of novels by British writer Mick Herron. Like LeCarre, but with a very dark sense of humor. Gary Oldman is the "spy-master" and is terrific. Great show. Been reading the books before the corresponding season. Season three starting soon.

Terrific and great are frequently hyperbole. WRT Slow Horses, they most definitely aren't. The only bad thing about the show is the gap between seasons.

Watched first 2 episodes of CB Strike. British series based on books by JK Rowling published under a pseudonym that is currently being broadcast on HBO I believe. Really like the two main characters.

How do you all watch your TV? I still have xfinity and love the service and set up. It is so easy, but they are trying to raise me another $400 a year and do not seem willing to negotiate this time around. 20 years of loayalty isnt going very far.

I'm leaning towards YouTube TV. They seem to resemble a cable set up the most to me and offerings seem plentiful. I only noticed the lack MLB Network, which is a bummer, but I purchase mlb.tv every year anyways. Do any of you have any experience with a superbox or Vsee V2pro box?
Any insights would be great appreciated.

I have YouTube TV and I like it. It's definitely like cable. I normally get MLB.TV as well as ESPN+ and that covers all the things I want to watch. Wish they had NHL Network on YT TV but they don't.

I "cut the cord" five or six years ago and run a few firesticks and an Nvidia Shield android box, all with an IPTV provider. I couple that with Tivimate, which provides a nice, clean-looking channel guide. Very much like any guide a cable box would have these days. I really only watch sports and reruns of The Bernie Mac Show, so this was a perfect solution for me. Shoot me a DM if you want some more insight.

I've been cable-free since around mid-2012.

Previously had Netflix, Prime, and Disney+, but presently only use Netflix and Tubi (free with ads).

For sports, I have MLB.tv and alternative methods if I ever want to watch a game.

I am a huge Marvel fan from my youth, the late 70's - early 80's. For some reason, I've never gotten into any of the animated series. I'm in my early 60's now and I have really enjoyed the Spider-Verse movies interestingly enough. Perhaps it's because I do struggle with series.... animated or otherwise. I can easily devote 2-3+ hours on a movie as opposed to watching a series in multiple segments over days/weeks/months.....
