Nooo. :( Obviously for Ty, another redshirt is a no-brainer, but according to my Google skills, some patients make a full recovery in 6 months. That’s a bummer that he COULD be 100% by mid-Big Ten play, but that’s not worth burning a whole year of eligibility.

Get well soon, Ty. Heart breaks for ya, kid!

Well, this stinks, but maybe time is on our side. Still several months until any significant games.

Can only assume it is not an ACL tear based on this. Regardless, this is not great news. I was really looking forward to seeing him on the floor. I truly believe we are going to see a different version of Ben this year which would be a huge help.

That’s gotta be best case scenario which is great to hear for Ty’s sake at least.

I’ll paint the silver lining of the team gelling without him and getting a big addition after a few months

Awful awful news.

Thought Ty was the X factor on this team. Hope I'm wrong but I think any combo of the trio T-Petrovic-Ben/Mirk will just be a turnstile defensively.

Hope they can find a versatile player that can defend. Or pray Lee thrives as a freshman.

Even if Ben is good, he’s a 4. We have Ivisic Bros and Mirkovic and Ben for the 4-5. Good depth.

Was thinking Ty was gonna get a lot more time at the 1-3. We now have Petrovic, Boswell, and Stojakovic penciled in with only Lee and Davis to pick up extra minutes at those three spots. Not great depth.
