Burning to win, I'm looking in the mirror tonight. I am not worried about the guys that just gave their best on the court tonight, I think. I am looking in the mirror when I think about next year.

I heard Natty was the goal. Bring it.

I just want to note that Zach Edey has never done anything like that to us his whole career.
Clingon is a better defender than Edey no doubt. Edey is a better scorer but I am curious how many blocks will he get from Clingon.

I wouldn't feel bad for them. They performed WAYYYYYY above expectations. They will be remembered forever! Can any of the insiders shine a little light on the Hamer situation? He has been disappointing all season and needs to go, IMO.

Wished for a better competitive ending but still broke out the nice champagne bottle to celebrate one of our best seasons in a long time. Even though that second half stunk, I felt the team still needed to be celebrated for their body of work this season. I'm sad more for the players than myself. Hate to see TSJ go out like that in particular.

Time for him to take the up leadership mantle from Coleman! He’s got that EDG mentality like Trent, DMFW, Andres before him…

I disagree. Being a double double machine only helps if it is part of a scheme. Right now, when Ty is on the floor against a quality rim protector, it takes away the dribble drive for the other 4 players. In this day and age, if you are 6' 8" or under, you have to be able to hit a three, otherwise you are a liability to your teammates against top level teams.

What is that nut even talking about. I saw nothing but respectful comments from our guys. He really is a douche.
He’s crazy. Nearly everyone talks about them being a generational great team…but he’s pissed off at Sean Harrington for a pro-Illinois tweet. Dude is just a psycho. Which, I guess is part of what makes them so dominant, but…dude, have some class.

Thank you to the Illinois basketball program and all of you for a great season and a fun ride!!!! TSJ's career at Illinois might be over; however, he is going to need all of our support more than ever now. Please don't forget that!

Clingan > Edey.

Clingan is bouncy for a guy that is 7’2”. Quick twitch as Brad described him.
Better....there is no defining proof. Clingan is a poor FT shooter, misses a ton of bunnies, and can only play 20-22 min. while Edey can play 30 min. Clingan is more athletic and quicker, but Edey does not commit and get taken out of plays. He is also deadly with his shooting inside 8 ft. I like the teams both coaches have assembled around both of them, but overall prefer Edey....but Clingan would be a pretty terrific consolation prize.

What an incredible year, a heart felt thanks to the players, they gave us a lot of joy, pride and wonderful memories.
I felt the game was lost when we came out executing the same game plan and I don't blame the players for that.
