. When the ISU game got close I turned the fire table off because I didn’t have it on during the first half (AZ problems LOL). I guess I screwed up the superstition today as well. Tried to change things but it didn’t help. Switched up my drinks repeatedly. Only thing I accomplished was a sad buzz. 
Well, to be fair, he was called for one foul.
Nope. He will be back and work on a jumper this offseason.

This was a great season and for some of us old enough to remember it was what we had come to expect. I think we can expect this and better going forward. We have a great coach and he will take us beyond this stellar year. Thanks to these players who put their hearts and souls into making this a special season. What a fun season for us fans! See you all next year. (Well actually tonight to track recruiting until games start next year.)
Clingan is normally way worse around the basket than Edey though
Edey is much more physical. Clingan wouldn’t be effective against Edey.

Hard to really compute what happened today , but being a glass half full optimist that I am , I want to express how impressed I have been all year at the performance of this team this year.....
We had a lot of success this year such as..........
Reaching the Sweet 16 for the first time in 19 years........
Reaching the Elite 8......................
Winning the B$G tourney......................
Being ranked for the majority of the season with a low of # 10....(if my memory serves me right,,,I'm kinda numb right now).......
Plenty of great wins with Doc Domask & TSJ being 1st team All B$G..................

Yeah after the initial flurry Hawkins actually forced him into a couple of tough looks which he of course made.
We had no answer whatsoever for the UConn freightliner that plowed right over us. Great season overall, by one of my favorite Illini teams of all time. These are tough, resilient young men, who will get over their deep disappointment today and go on to do great things in their lives. And, the Illini will reload, regroup, and be ready to fight again next season. The program is in great hands.

I think Edey will eat his lunch if they meet in the championship, but Clingan is surrounded by better players than Edey is.
2021 team had Kofi who this team would not handle. We couldn’t handle a good big all year
Ayo and TSJ would cancel each other
MD would be problematic but DMFW would have been good on D
a healthy Trent would been hard to stop
2021 played better defense 2024 played better offense except when there was a good big
2021 had a gear at the end of the game if it was close would have closed the game but this team had offensive firepower
Personally the 2020 team was BU best
