Yeah that was insane. Looked like Caleb Love rubbed off on him a bit.Maybe him jacking up 30 foot threes was a bad idea

This is on the money and Ivisic is not playable against a physical big. That maybe the most concerning aspect of this game.Like the Loyola game, Brad refused to switch defenses on the pick-and-roll
Rod StewartWho's birthday was it last night?
BU is stuck in his ways. And having no shoot around before the game. WTF is that?Brad Underwood wants to play the same way no matter what....in this case his "tough 2" philosophy on defense wasn't working from the jump. This USC team thrived on our style of Defense. I would have like to see us make a change...zone..jumping Claude in his booty ball looks etc. But that never came as Brad stuck to his beliefs that eventually it will even out
We have a 7 ft center who is basically used to set screens for 3 pt shooters. Dobt blame him when we shoot 7 for 32. A zone defense would not allowed 31 points from a guard with no jump shot.Ivisic was a negative today
What, like burn sage on the court before the game?Call the fumigators cause the Illini stuck up the gym today, took USC lightly I believe.
To be fair, when you jack up 32 threes and miss 25, that's a lot of long rebounds that you don't exactly expect your center to track down. Some of those shots were 30 foot heaves(Boswell).Yes guard play and defense was not good, but the fact Tomi only had 3 rebounds in 17 minutes is baffling. He should be embarrassed by that.
Tomi is the poster child of the soft Euro stereotype. At 7’ plus, he can’t finish through contact, lacks strength, and has sub-par athleticism. He needs to toughen up physically and mentally to be successful inFor sure, he and most all the rest of the team should be embarrassed.
Guys….. he’s injured. Like, legitimately injured. If your non-shooting forearm is in that much pain so as to preclude you from playing, it’s not just some soreness. And it ain’t healing over the next couple days.I’ll say it again: play your best player when he is capable of playing.
Fine line between caution and hubrisWondered if today was a ‘he’s close, but it’s USC and we just beat PSU by 40 without him, so let’s sit him out of an abundance of caution’.
Wake up, Tomi, I think I got somethin' to say to youRod Stewart
Definitely not for the faint of heart. Especially when they're not playing well.First time in a game thread in awhile and h—y s—t lol just an absolutely wild place.
We made them take tough 2’s? I must have been in a rage spiral because I mostly saw easy layups and wide open jump shots.Brad Underwood wants to play the same way no matter what....in this case his "tough 2" philosophy on defense wasn't working from the jump. From my observation he has been quite inconsistent.I like Tomi and hope he sticks around for another year but he is just kind of soft for a 7 footer.
Needs to add strength on the lower body and work on banging a bit more and finishing forward through contact instead of floating away.

depends on what your goal is. I'm fine giving up one game for the long term benefit.Fine line between caution and hubris
Claude made a ton of tough contested shots at the rim and within 10 feet. There were the layups but he also went nuclear and just had everything going in. I like to blitz a guy on a heater like that whether it's full court, a surprise double, etc. Anything to make him feel uneasy with the ball.We made them take tough 2’s?
