They're from California, the sage thought it was for them.

What was that????

Good gravy. Where was our passing? It was like we were playing with four on the court. I am eagerly awaiting for Indy’s posts 😀

In the end, I think he's very valuable. The long three's were great against Duck. Not so great today.

Getting to the rim, running the point and dishing some assists are things he does well. But, as you rightly point out, he has trouble finishing. And it's frustrating.

In the Oregon game, he missed 2/3 easy layup in a row and I'm having images of Curbello, but then later, he made a great assist and hit like 2 huge 3-pointers in a row to pull away from Duck. And his defense is very good.

Be consistent, I guess.
We know from last year how important having a solid PG is. I think Boswell does many great things and can be a great facilitator. I just don't think he should be chucking threes from Curry distance. I can live with him driving to the lane and poorly finishing because he can draw fouls and our rebounding is typically great.

I just wish he would lean more to his strengths.

Um yes exactly the part where you said one of the worst home losses. We lost to an underachieving USC team. Is this your first season watching Illini basketball?
As he was talking about quads I'm assuming he's been watching 7 years or so.

USC has talent. Musselman is a good coach. They're going to continue to improve. It won't be quad 3 in the end in my opinion.

If it makes anyone feel any better, Duke needed 42 from their best player to beat an even worse team at home. We didn’t have ours to bail us out.

As I said in the game thread, I chalk this one up to whatever they did last night, overconfidence, and bad adjustments. The second one should be gone by now. The other two are up to the team and coaches. What we do from this point forward will say alot about this team and its chances in March.

Give me a break :ROFLMAO:. Of the last 7 years, how about before that lmao!

Lmao....you must read at a 5th grade level.:ROFLMAO: I said it was one of the worst home losses I've ever watched.

I didn't say it was one of the worst home losses ever....even though it probably actually sits in the top 10.

Read it slowly if you must. I bolded and italicized the important part for you. I know it's hard. I'm trying to help.

If you want to call one individual post out on a forum, when 99.9999999% of the posts are of a similar or worse take......try harder.

Maybe contribute something worthwile like....what is one of the the worst home loss you've watched?

Both of you need to log off and take a nap or something.

Unlike vs PSU we had too much dribbling and poor ball movement. As far as our offense and defense today…how much are we paying Tyler and Hamer? Saw few adjustments if any.

Anddddd your post was the first to reference "worst loss". You blew it out of proportion because I struck a nerve apparently. Definitely a bad loss but not one of the worst. Quad 3 now but will it end up Quad 3? USC is underachieving and we were without our star player. Calling you out? It's a forum, calm down

Going from the PSU game to today, getting 2 pts from Morez makes me think Brad doesn't know what to do with him yet. How can he not be a serious part of the gameplan?

Credit to USC...but bonkers.

I also wonder if the PSU win got in these guys' heads.
Did you watch Morez today? He couldn’t finish and got destroyed on defense. The guy is an unfinished product. Extremely athletic but not enough to guard The man who torched us. Plus his ability to finish a 3-4ft shot is highly suspect. We lost today because we didn’t play defense and didn’t rebound. A lot of what Morez is supposed to bring.

I told you guys at the beginning of the year that this team will lose 10+ games and at the most make the Sweet16. This team doesn't have a lock down defender especially on the wing/forward position. Ty Rodgers could have solved that issue. This team is reminiscent of the 22-23 team that was really young and that inexperience will show throughout the year. This team will have some more bad losses as the season goes on.
