I'm not worried and I don't think anyone else should be. Everyone needs to remember.... Our team is clearly in a rebuilding process. Period. First 3 games and we come out of it 2-1 record. I'd say we are doing alright. Kids are learning on the fly by playing immediately. Growing pains will happen this year. Our OC does have some decisions to make at QB but again, we are rebuilding, so it's inevitable that starters at the beginning of the season might not be who we go with once coaches see players get evaluated over the first 3 games. What bothers me the most is our Ofeensive play calling. Crouch in: Yes we do a few read options and moving the QB out of pocket but it's so little that Crouch is being used as a passing QB/traditional drop back passer. **makes no sense when we all know he doesn't have the tools to do that*** George in: Yes we were behind and was forced to throw throw throw but we still should have run the ball. The simply fact that our OC says he wants a power running game........but then in the games we barely do any runs at all is a little discouraging. Not talking about tonight's game but even Ball State and WKU I felt like we needed to run the ball way more then we did. 3 games in.....2-1 record.....coaches will take going into a bye to review all personal and make adjustments as needed. Here's to hoping we run the ball VS Nebby to keep our young but promising Defense off the field. PS. Our DC needs to figure out how to stop that simple easy run draw South Florida ran on us all night or we will get gashed the rest of the season.
