Domers lose!

Yet another year where ND is extremely over ranked. Sad part is they'll win several soft games the rest of the year and get consideration. They don't deserve to be considered in the championship conversation.

Those were two damn good football teams out there tonight. Kizer looks like a potential NFL QB.

Texas might actually be a pretty bad loss. I'm not sure who is coming out of the Big 12 this year, but Houston might crowd out both Notre Dame and the Big 12 winner (again)

Who in the world would want to play or work for Brian Kelly? All he does is scream and look angry at everybody all the time. Makes me appreciate Lovie even more

I rescind my previous statement about the LSU player making the most egregious play. That's the type of dirty hit that results in one of three things: concussion, paralyzation or death. Seriously. That Iowa dude should be suspended an extra game or 10 as well. No place for that.

I didnt see what happened with the Iowa player. Can someone fill me in?

Never mind, google was my friend...

I don't disagree that ND is a good team. They're usually a top 25 team, but I feel most years they're overrated and it usually comes out quickly. At the end of the day I'd love Illinois to have ND problems.

Just an update, Jewell from Iowa is completely eligible to play this weekend after being ejected for the illegal hit on Saturday.

I believe his hit was extremely early in the game, so it is like he was "suspended" for a game, but no extra game punishment is absurd. Beckman level decision making going on there.

Was good seeing Aaron Bailey and UNI knock off Iowa State over the weekend. Bailey had an ok game rushing for over 100 yds & a TD and passing for a TD and no INT's.

Pretty doggone good game if you ask me.

I'm happy for Bailey. A good kid who always knew and was very clear about what he wanted, to play quarterback. He has found that opportunity, and on a team that is a serious national title contender.
