Watching a bit of Georgia-Marshall...

I know McCray has had a bout with illness in the preseason, but he's way down on the RB depth chart. 4 RBs have seen time so far in the first half, and the leading rusher is the QB, but no McCray yet.
Selfishly, McCray getting relegated to the deep depths of the Georgia RB chart is an absolute win for our program. Not that I want or wish bad for Josh...but that could be a hell of a "grass ain't always greener" tale.

he very well may have been #4 rb with us had he stayed . don’t get me wrong , I like(d) Josh, but he left for reasons he saw coming

I'm with you. I just can't buy the hype.
11 wins is...well 11 wins.
They still have some top end All-Big dudes, a QB who has been PROJECTED to go early rounds--one had him first overall--which seems lofty.

I get the hype but am more so hoping for a heavy bust season with all the transfers they brought in. Got a little hopeful earlier when ODU was keeping pace. An early loss or subpar showing could quell the fan support and make for a little softer landing when we play there week 4.

Oh, I imagine he would have been 3rd at best, but at Georgia he's...7th? I think? Leaving because he's 3rd string is understandable. choosing Georgia only makes sense if you're maybe chasing a ring and don't care about playing time.

One of, if not my biggest concern against OSU would be how we perform inside the 5. Illinois has had a very prominent reputation of stalling out, OSU almost unquestionably the best at stalling teams out.
I was very impressed by Bowick's route running in the Red Zone. I think between him, the RBs, and our use of the TEs in goal line situations my gut feel is we're going to be much improved in the Red Zone.

And this could be me pounding the Kool-Aid, but I think we have an offense that will give OSU more problems than Texas. That said, limiting OSU to 14... We're going to need an all-world effort to do that.

It would be the funniest result ever for Alabama to lose to Florida State after all the talk about how they're back and should have been in the playoff last year despite 3 conference losses and a bad bowl loss.
Finebaum probably reading this right now

"What if everyone on the roster had a carry?"

Is McCray hurt? 5 Georgia bulldogs other than the QB have carries this game.

I know it tough turning down an offer from an university with top tier pedigree full of southern co-eds, but there is an instate TE prospect that might want to reconsider his commitment if he is watching this Florida State game....

Beside we have an orange jersey to deal with the heat. Some loser on TwitterX used it as an excuse.
