Hard to see any upsets there. Maybe Purdue can catch MSU letting down after the Michigan win?

I am still not sold on MSU being a powerhouse. They barely beat Nebraska and IU. They do seem to be having a magic season, though (like IU did last year) - lots of bounces and big plays going their way.

Other top games today include Wake Forest-North Carolina, Auburn-Texas A&M, and Oregon-Washington.

Among the state schools, there's EIU at Austin Peay, UNI at ISU, Missouri State at SIU, and South Dakota at WIU.

Amazing! OSU with a 6 point lead over Neb (and near their own goal line) throws the ball a few times to get downfield to kick a field goal. They even threw it in a 2nd and 21 situation. Gained 11 yards on a pass on 3rd and 16. That is how you win games!!

Bad offense in the Iowa-Northwestern game. 0-0 heading into the end of the 1st quarter. Lots of miscues

They never get included in those conversations, but Washington have top 5 uniforms easily.

Pac 12 is the #1 conference by far, Washington, USC, UCLA, Colorado all perfection. Your mileage may vary on the whole Oregon schtick.

Kevin, I feel bad for ya because BB is just never going to be that guy. I’d love to play OSU type of football but I don’t see it happening at Illinois. I’m resigned to Iowa, Wisconsin being our ceiling and both leave you wanting more. But it’s so much better than where we are and where we’ve been.

You’re aware they have CJ Stroud and multiple 5 star receivers right? We have a QB we don’t trust the throw and a really below average receiving corps

Yeah, Lovie...I mean Kevin doesn't pass up an opportunity to share his opinion.

USC/Cal game scheduled for this weekend pushed back to December 4, a day after the Pac-12 title game, due to covid issues in the Cal program. Cal lost to Arizona this past weekend and was severely undermanned with only about 42 scholarship players in uniform.
