It was announced during yesterday's College Gameday that the show will be in Baton Rouge next Saturday for Alabama/LSU.
Yeah not a huge slate to pick from. Kind of thought they might go to Ole Miss for the Georgia/Ole Miss game, but this selection also makes sense.

Also what world to we live in where IU is -11.5 favorites over Michigan? Crazy year!

So the only reason that Washington/PSU is on Peacock is because the Notre Dame game is on Saturday night. The opponent of the Fighting Irish? Florida State. I know the TV schedule was probably set in stone months but man that feels like one you'd like to move earlier in the day.

ZERO chance they win at ND this week. Like, utterly impossible. Florida State will be 1-9 heading into their week 11 game vs Charleston.

by far biggest surprise this year imo. even more than indiana.

what an utter collapse.

Maybe UCLA isn't as cruddy as once thought.
Probably not as bad but I don't understand Iowa. They look very good at home vs. Northwestern and Wisconsin, they look like Iowa with an offense.

They look so poor on the road and the defense gives up over 200-yards rushing @ MSU and @ UCLA. That's not Iowa. An odd Iowa team.

Just a classic big ten year. We build certain teams up/down early on (Illinois, Nebraska, UCLA for example at certain points) but for the most part there’s 3-4 dominant programs and then everyone else.

The difference between 8-4 and 4-8 is how you do in those 1 score games. We’ve got a coach that tends to win those…

No wonder how tough this week has been for most of us, Kirk Herbstreit has probably had the toughest week:

They just had a segment on College Gameday where they talked about Ben and Herbstreit really struggled to put into words how he felt (and understandably so). They then played a video essay that Herbstreit did about Ben. I'll get it posted on here once I can find the clip online.

Today's top games include Georgia-Ole Miss, Alabama-LSU and BYU-Utah.

Today's schedule among the state schools:

-Noon, ESPN+: Youngstown State at SIU
-12:30 PM, ESPN+: EIU at Gardner-Webb
-1:00 PM, ESPN+: ISU at Northern Iowa, Tennessee State at WIU

Rutgers vs. Minny quite a game. Rutgers scores after a Minny fumble deep in own territory. Up 5 with 7:27 to go. Now Rutgers gets safety on Minny. Now up by 7 with a little under 7 min. to go.

Rutgers beating Minny 23-16.
I had Minnesota going 7-5 coming into this week (losing to Penn St and Wisconsin). I now think they will finish 6-6. Combined with Iowa losing last night, Illinois may control destiny to Citrus Bowl (2-1 next 3 games may be enough). All assuming B1G gets 4 teams in playoff.

I have a golden retriever named Gunnar , he’s 5. just a great dog . we got him in Oct 2019

we had a golden retriever named Chief , who died from Lymphoma in April 2019 at age 8
they are very susceptible to lymphoma & death is inevitable . we declined treatment as our Vet was very forthcoming and advised against it for many reasons .

they remain the BEST dogs , even if you might need to accept a shorter life from 20% of them

we loved Chief and we love Gunnar just as much

GR’s are such wonderful dogs . They are Gods gift to man

not 100% sure I want to go to the Citrus Bowl & face Ole Miss or Tenn

it’s a two edged sword

Iowa is on their fifth string qb due to injuries, so they are pretty predictable on offense. That does not excuse them giving up over 400 yards to UCLA, including over 200 on the ground. UCLA really isn’t very good.
