I have to laugh at some of the local commentary here in Columbus after Ohio State’s trouncing of Purdue. I guess that hadn’t noticed how bad Purdue has been this year.

Iowa is on their fifth string qb due to injuries, so they are pretty predictable on offense. That does not excuse them giving up over 400 yards to UCLA, including over 200 on the ground. UCLA really isn’t very good.
nor is Iowa

not 100% sure I want to go to the Citrus Bowl & face Ole Miss or Tenn

it’s a two edged sword
Unfortunately, outside of the top 4 in B1G, there are a lot of meh teams. From a best matchup standpoint, we would need Music City or Mayo Bowl (or lower). It almost feels like the team would need to go 1-2 down stretch to play in those games. So definitely a two-edged sword. But with opt outs, these bowl games have become crap shoots, so I say any bowl game in warm weather location is good to me.

I have a golden retriever named Gunnar , he’s 5. just a great dog . we got him in Oct 2019

we had a golden retriever named Chief , who died from Lymphoma in April 2019 at age 8
they are very susceptible to lymphoma & death is inevitable . we declined treatment as our Vet was very forthcoming and advised against it for many reasons .

they remain the BEST dogs , even if you might need to accept a shorter life from 20% of them

we loved Chief and we love Gunnar just as much

GR’s are such wonderful dogs . They are Gods gift to man
They are amazingly sweet dogs.

And cue the shameless crying.
Yep. Scrolled through the GameDay replay on the ESPN app to find this as one of our two cats (who we’ve had since they were six weeks old) is nestled up with me on the couch. I wanted to also see the lead-in. Man, Kirk Herbstreit loved that dog. Couldn’t help but have a few tears watching that.

Whenever Ben was on a telecast I was watching, I smiled. We could do a lot worse than that in terms of leaving a good legacy.

Man, VT might be the most disappointing P4 team in terms of execution this year... they've got the talent but lack of execution keeps costing them.

Coaching decisions are a problem. I think they should a graphic he hasn't won a 1 score game yet in 4 years.

As long as he's the man, they'll never win a close game, especially one vs a ranked team, this one included.

The Loosiers got soooo lucky! How do we lose, even when we don't play? Fun stat near the end of the game...scUMs last unranked top 10 win was 61 years ago, to the day. Take a wild guess who it was?
Sad Ice Cream GIF

Ugh as much as I hate Michigan I would’ve loved to see IU go down. That timeout call on second down after letting 28 seconds tick off was one of the worst I’ve ever seen.
On the plus side, Michigan might not make a bowl game this year.

there is really no explanation for that other than them knowing what defense we were running . it doesn’t make any sense otherwise

Kansas was due. Had a feeling about that one. They’re much better than their record would indicate and it was a solid win for the illini early on. Good sign that illini can possibly win out.

Colorado doing much better than I thought. Seems like shurmur as OC has made a big difference. Deon I’ll bet has been a little more ‘hands off’ as far as actual game plans.

Then Michigan… looks like 6-6, but NW might be able to pull it off and make them 5-7. Never know with those crazy cats. Think that’s enough to fire Moore after one season? In my opinion they might as well not drag it on, because he is not the guy.
