If you don't click on the photo of the whole field it looks like AI or someone just pasted a pic of a field onto a baseball stadium.

Still not sure how they made it fit like that lol.

when Wrigley was remodeled about 8-10 years ago , they specifically did it with getting a football field to fit

they take out the Cubs dugout & a other stuff . it’s a huge deal to prepare for & csnt be done until after the MLB season is over in late Oct

Can’t wait for our game against NW. Mark it off the bucket list. Any ideas for parking lots where you don’t have to take a second mortgage. One year the Cubs had free parking at I believe it was IIT thethey shuttled you to Wrigley for free. I don’t feel like taking the South Shore to downtown then take the red line. Any ideas.

My daughter gets neighborhood parking passes, so I no longer have that problem.

For Cub games, I used to park along Seminary avenue near Grace street. Had to get there super early to score a spot. Otherwise, bring cash.

Saturday parking may be an option near one of the red line stops south of Addison. Maybe park and jump on the red line for a couple of stops. Try Park Whiz you can reserve a space ahead of time near one of the stops. There are several garages available especially near North and Clybourn. Maybe as low as $15 for 12 hours.

Just an anecdote of how this new world of TV networks running the show (well, even more than before) has made things wonky? These are Ohio State's final SIX regular season games (EST), and I have seen their fans complaining about it A LOT online, haha.

12;00 pm on FOX
12:00 pm on FOX
12:00 pm on FOX
12:00 pm on BTN
12:00 pm on FOX
12:00 pm on FOX

Overall, that will be 7 out of 12 games at 12:00 pm EST, and 2 of the 5 games played later in the day were away from home. Their last game of the year later than 12:00 pm EST will have been on October 12th, lol.

JMO, but it is starting to come across as especially cringe for FOX to keep marketing Big Noon Kickoff as this sort of "game of the week" setup or FOX's answer to what College Gameday used to be ... if they are just choosing a Big Ten matchup pretty much every single week and many weeks only getting the second or third pick of those matchups after CBS or NBC.

It still feels like that end zone heading towards the ivy is a huge safety hazard.

Are they going both directions or just one like all those years ago?

Today's top games include Tulane-Navy, Oregon-Wisconsin, and Tennessee-Georgia.

Today's schedule among the state schools:
-Noon, ESPN+: Charleston Southern at EIU, ISU at Indiana State
-1:00 PM, ESPN+: WIU at Southeast Missouri State
-2:00 PM, ESPN+: SIU at South Dakota State

They solved that issue a while back, and they can now go both ways. Their games vs. Purdue in 2021 and Iowa in 2023 were played normally, too.

Fun fact … they’re 0-3 in these Wrigley games, starting with our beatdown we handed them in 2010. Likely 0-4 after today, so let’s hope it’s 0-5 after this season!

Wow, our fans better show up to Wrigley and send a message that Chicago is more our turf than the Cats … because I do not exaggerate at all when I say the crowd today looks no less than 95% OSU fans, lol. Clearly NU fans are not motivated to show up, so it’ll be on us to fill the place!
I'll be there with my husband and a friend of ours, being at loud and obnoxious as we can!

I would not want to run a fade route to the corner --can't imagine there's enough room to finish the play. Curious how many feet it measures to from the last bit of end zone to a wall. If you figure a fading receiver needing at least 7-8 feet with arms outstretched and momentum, it seems like a serious hazard.
