Bit of an odd finish to the Charleston Southern/EIU game today. Game goes to OT. Charleston Southern doesn't score on their opening possession. EIU gets it into position to kick the FG. Snap is a bad snap and goes over the holder's head. As the players are chasing after it, one of the Charleston Southern players intentionally kicks the ball to keep EIU from recovering it. Charleston Southern recovers it and returns it for what they think is the winning score. Charleston Southern gets flagged for the intentional kick which means EIU keeps the ball and it's a half the distance to the goal penalty. EIU gets it down to the 1 and kicks the FG to win it in OT.
I'm guessing I'm not the only one who saw walters steal coaches, players, and recruits from us and thought he might surpass us.
