Is Iowa the worst 10 win team ever? They scored more than 20 points only 4 times. Quite historic given how the game is played today. I think they get routed next week similar to the beating they took at Beaver Stadium. It will definitely be the least hyped B1G Championship Game ever, despite Iowa being 10-2.

They’re 43 in the FEI ratings. Wisconsin at 6-5 is 45. So they’re a 7-5 team that went 10-2.

Even crazier is that Iowa is only +22 net point margin in conference games. It is highly likely that going into bowl game, Iowa will be net outscored in conference games but still 10-3 overall. That is a testament to how good their defense is and equally how bad their offense is, especially considering that only 27 points per game on average is scored in an Iowa conference game.

Will be interesting how the books come up with an over/under total next week. The under is 10-2 in Iowa games so far this year.

10 wins is 10 wins. 10-2 and fugly on offense, is a heck of a lot better than 4-8 with a Rolls Royce offense, but a cream puff defense(Colorado). I'll take winning over exciting, 100 times out of 100. Talking about Iowa in this manner makes me physically ill.

The Mountain West title game matchup was decided by computers. Here's the explanation:

Boise State, UNLV, and San Jose State all finished with 6-2 conference records. Since Boise State and UNLV did not play each other in the regular season, the tie was broken by the average of 4 computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Colley Matrix, Massey and Wolfe). UNLV had the highest average ranking of the three teams. Boise State was 2nd, San Jose State was 3rd. UNLV vs. Boise State will be the matchup with the Rebels hosting the game.
