Bama fans going to run DeBoer out of town. Looks like Saban got out at the right time but no way Bama should be this mediocre
Just makes what he did at Washington even crazier. He just wasn't losing. I guess things are catching up to him.

I don't think the SEC fully understood what they were bargaining for creating a constant stream of not just infinite-budget football factories, but infinite-budget football factories that are extremely angry and frustrated and playing to save their coaching staffs.

The SEC was always this way where there simply weren't enough wins to go around to satiate the expectation level of the teams, but it's on steroids now.

It would make for amazing drama if losses #1 and #2 mattered for any of these teams. Bama may sneak in yet, who knows.

Finebaum just has to change his “Why a 3 loss Georgia still belongs in the CFP” article to a 3 loss Alabama.

WSU Coug’s it, completes the choke, losses 41-38 to Oregon State, who remains in the hunt for a minor bowl. Old school Pac-12 After Dark vibe to this one.

thought Utah got screwed with intentional grounding call - wasn't under near-sack pressure and pass was way over but directly over head of receiver - then misses FG to tie. auburn choking down stretch, need A&M to lose

ridiculous is right. worst team in the country closing out games. def. ain't winning this and won't win a single close game this year at 4-8 and all their losses within 10 points or less.

unbelievably frustrating its got to be for that fanbase

Auburn's Hugh Freeze just called a TO prior to a Texas A&M FG attempt in 2OT. Texas A&M hit the FG to send the game to the 3rd OT.

Flashback to when Hugh Freeze, coaching for Arkansas State, called 3-straight timeouts at Illinois in 2011 late in the 2nd quarter.

Derek Dimke still hit the 32yd FG. Go Illini

I think the real question is does this save Indiana in the playoffs? If we win at Wrigley are we in great shape for the Citrus?
Yeah pretty much. If they beat Purdue next week, I don’t know how they would leave them out of the CFP with 1 loss. Maybe their schedule but they dominated pretty much every team on their schedule except for OSU. Now say if they lose to Purdue than it’s a different story. To answer your second question, say if we lose next Saturday and Iowa wins, we would both be 8-4 but Iowa went to the Citrus last year. They would prefer not to have the same team in back to back years so it’s looking like the Citrus but the ReliaQuest is an option as well if that scenario were to happen.

Yep, both my Illini and Beavers score with under 30 seconds to go to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

If Indiana beats Purdue, it would be unfathomable if they put what will ultimately be multiple 3 loss teams ahead of them into the CFP. SEC schools will complain about the schedules but you lose 3 games with most of those teams losing to a .500 team as one of their losses, you have no legs to stand on in my opinion.

If they were to start favoring 3 loss SEC teams over 1 loss B10 teams, it's more about the name of the school than the resume in my opinion.

Definitely their schedule. "Experts" were saying all week that they'd be out with a blowout to OSU. We'd be 10-0 with the same schedule. I had a fellow gambler buy me a screwdriver tonight. Granted, it was after I had a 3 and 5 card straight flush in 3 card poker ;). Orange=Illini...Orange also=citrus. Bada bing, bada boom...Go ahead and plan your trip to the old folk state!
