Going to have to watvch our game Fox sports app at least the first quarter. Why is the TCU game running so far behind. Just at half.

Mascots are tacky by design. It is the most mascot thing that I've seen in a long time, so slow clap to the undisputed mascot champion.

Scenario I am still rooting for: Duke wins the ACC, but finishes behind Tulane/North Texas and James Madison in the CFP rankings, shutting the ACC out of the CFP entirely.

ACC current status: Virginia leads Virginia Tech and Cal leads SMU. If those scores hold, the ACC championship will be Virginia vs Duke.

If Virginia and SMU win, it's Virginia-SMU.

If SMU wins and Virginia loses, it's SMU-Duke.

If both SMU and Virginia lose and NC State loses, it's SMU-Duke.

If both SMU and Virginia lose and NC State wins, it's Duke-Miami.

Duke puts up 49 points to win. Hopes of making championship game rests on Cal (though historically not the team you'd have a pleasant experience rooting for).

Will Georgia, Bama, Indiana, and OSU sit their starters?

Don't see a whole lot to gain from next weekend for them (and it kills me to say that because it kills the Conference Championship games).

So the ACC championship will be played between a Virginia team that lost 2 conference games but only one counted, and a 7-5 Duke team that won a Strength of Victory tiebreaker because a California team beat a Texas team.
