Expected this coming Monday: "I want to thank Coach Ryan Walters for his efforts on behalf of Purdue football. Unfortunately, the results have not met the high expectations that we have for our program. Therefore, we have decided to obtain new leadership going forward. We wish Ryan Walters every success in his future endeavors."

That said, it was really classless for Indiana's Coach to run up the score like he did.

Purdue is (1-11) this season. Ouch....:ROFLMAO:

Arizona State has clinched their spot in the Big XII Championship Game. The other spot will come down to the result of the Houston/BYU game that is currently going on. If BYU wins, then the Sun Devils will face Iowa State. If BYU loses, then it will be Arizona State vs. Colorado.

Lots of fights this weekend. On one hand I like it, on the other I don’t. The unc guy throwing the flag was pretty funny, but then you realize they lost and he was having a tantrum of sorts. Gotta take whatever comes your way and move on especially when there’s no upside

When did planting a flag in the center of your rival’s field become such a thing? Michigan, Florida, NCST, Arizona State … maybe I’m old school, but it’s piss poor sportsmanship.
And ASU planted an actual weapon that players were tussling over. Everyone's the star of their own movie nowadays, and they gotta get theirs I guess.

Agreed.

We had a phenomenal year and BB deserves a ton of credit. However, the big picture is that this program has a long, long way to go to be considered a successful program versus just having a successful season.

Now, it's entirely possible that not getting enough support on the NIL front could tick him off enough to jump ship at some point. As you mentioned, more than a couple of our players are going to be on some radars and if we can't ante up on kids that he's developed.... I'm sure that wouldn't sit overly well.

There are dust ups, which are fine, but then there are legitimate fights and those get out of control. What happened in Columbus today was inexcusable. Kids literally got maced and there was police involvement.

The garbage with the flags has to stop and clowns like Ryan Day should pay some sort of a price for standing around like a moron watching it all unfold.
The Michigan coach is actively trying to break it up, while Day sits there in a presser talking about his kids protecting the home turf. I'm not a Harbaugh guy, but him kicking Day's can year over year never broke my heart.

Planting something on your opponent's field is bush league. I can't imagine being OK with that as a coach. I get it's a rivalry but I wouldn't be happy if one of our guys stomped on the NU logo in their new stadium or something. Beat them on the field, leave the rest to the fans on social media LOL.
