Well we better bring in better players to compete with them

I hope Indianer gets demolished by O$U. They are occupying a space that I want Illinois to elevate itself to. Being humbled in the championship game would be a good first step.

I'm rooting for IU. I don't see them as much of a rival considering we only play them once every 4 years or whatever it is. They are a good story and any time someone other than tOSU or Michigan win the B1G, it's good for the conference IMO.

Same here. I'm no Indiana fan, but I root for the relative underdog in these scenarios.

Yeah I mean we simply must beat Purdue and Northwestern regularly. EASY OOC games going forward and win one toss up and the baseline should be a bowl game at minimum going forward.

OPPOSITE:
I'd rather have Ohio State and Michigan win the next 50 consecutive Big Ten championships rather than having Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern and Rutgers joining the elite club as first-timers. I call it the "jealousy effect."
I dunno… I think I’d rather see the middle rung teams elevate to that level. From Fiddler on the Roof: “we know that when good fortune favors two such men it stands to reason WE deserve it too!”

Give me some of that JMU coaching tree magic please

Drew Mestemaker's had a really tough day, but man is he a tough son of a gun. His pass is fumbled into the air and intercepted and returned almost for a touchdown, and then Mestemaker knocks the ball away from the defender CLEARLY before the touchdown. The absolutely g@dawful officiating crew bumbles the call, though and gives Tulane the score. Tulane is up 24 and living a charmed life with the zebras this game.
