I hate MI as much as the next Illini, but objectively shouldn't we be rooting for B1G teams in a B1G vs. SEC game? I mean I"m not singing hail to the victors or anything but I'd rather B1G beat SEC.

!#$% that $&@^. And muck Fichigan. I will not root for them under any circumstances. And I'll root for OU to beat them today, even though it looks like they're nowhere near up to that task.

Last week, Michigan's defense wasn't the issue. They did their job. They're doing it again today. The difference this week is that their offense came alone for the ride.

The Michigan corners are very, very impressive. If you can effectively single cover, it open up a world of options for the DC.

Under no circumstances have I ever been able to root for Michigan. Despising them is indelibly impregnated in my being.

Having said that, however, if this game continues on its current trajectory I'll enjoy seeing ESPN rationalize the Sooner faceplant.

I agree, but Mateer hasn’t looked that good after all the hype.

OU's punt return team is horrible. Their returner has extremely poor judgement about whether to fair catch or let the ball go.

I really don’t mind seeing the other conference teams lose. I just have animus for all of them.

OU looks so overrated.

Fuchigan looks so inept at times. I thought Whittingham would bring some refinement to that program. Doesn’t appear so.

Wow. Mateer just isn't good enough. Errant throw after errant throw, his team looking completely disorganized. If you're an undersized QB, to be among the best, you have to bring exceptional ingredients to the table: accuracy, athleticism, strength against the tackle. I don't see any of these things from him.
Where the hype came from is difficult to understand.
