Week 2 Games

Wow. Mateer just isn't good enough. Errant throw after errant throw, his team looking completely disorganized...where the hype came from is difficult to understand.
He throws high a lot imo, which is not necessarily a bad thing when they're also late.

His ability to move is what sets him apart. Classic athlete trying to play a style of QB not to his strength.

I hate MI as much as the next Illini, but objectively shouldn't we be rooting for B1G teams in a B1G vs. SEC game? I mean I"m not singing hail to the victors or anything but I'd rather B1G beat SEC.
This guy gets it…

The refs in this game think people wanna see them officiate instead of seeing the players play. Ridiculously inconsistent calls.

I was very surprised to not see OU call a timeout on 2nd down (they did after the successful 3rd down stop). Given field position, that's you spot to know Michigan probably won't be too flashy and save some clock.

I've also never got it with Mateer. Seems to have a number of the physical tools, but never puts it together. Kind of a SEC version of Drew Allar. Two totally inaccurate throws on 3rd and 4th downs.

Crazy finish underway in West Lafayette right now.

Purdue thought they had dragged the receivers leg out of bounds, but the ball was across the line to gain. Wake gets a first down and covers the 2-pt to win. From elation to a devastating loss for Boilers fans.
